Hello world again!

I would think would be Tigers statement to the world after his incredible domination of the tour championship. I didn’t see it all yesterday but what i saw of Saturdays round Tiger seem to be in full control and the rest of the field could only sit and watch him dissect the Erin hills golf course to shreds.

I have been saying for most of the season that putting is the difference between winning and loosing. Tiger putted well for the entire tournament making putts from every lengths but most importantly making the par putts he needed to continue the momentum for the rounds.

What i saw in Tigers swing reminded me of how he approached the game when he was winning everything in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. The streak where he won 10 majors in a 5 year period of time. And has only won 4 more since and not a single one since 2008. With this new swing ( or old one ) i see resilience and speed through the ball creating that speed he was missing over the last 10 or so years. Tiger was trying to control the ball for the last 10 years by blocking the ball and hitting a cut. He used no arms and mostly body which if you see his swing then he lowered his entire body going back and literally jumped up trying to create speed by his legs and upper body. What happened is he out a massive amount of pressure on his back and left knee.

What i see now in his swing is a free flowing movement through the ball with his arms actually rotating over one another which in turn takes pressure off his back and left knee. For someone that is by all standards the best player to come around in recent history Tiger has made many swing changes through the years. I do like this swing change and believe he will be able to play longer in his career and maybe even o nt he senior tour. This swing change makes it look effortless and takes the incredible pressure of his back with the movement of his arms crossing each other on the follow through.

I saw Tiger hit draws and cuts through out the day Sunday and Saturday and when he needed to really hit a shot his miss was thin and slightly to the right which is caused by too much arm and hand pressure and not allowing the club to reassess properly. It was amazing to see and i was actually pulling for him to win. Golf is a better sport with Tiger in it and it is definitely more exciting. It seems the other players were trying but Tiger just pulled away like he always done when he was in his heyday. Back in the 90’s Tiger would scorch incredibly hard golf courses with great ball striking, good putting and not making mistakes. He would shoot under par while the other players were scrambling to shoot even par and complaining the whole time.

It is perspective, mindset, and belief in yourself that makes the difference in the game of golf. Not to mention hard work. I will tell you Tiger is not afraid of that at all he probably works harder than anyone else in the game and has for years.

Love him, hate him, but i will say you have to respect him for what he has done not only for the game of golf but now for himself. He is the epitome of hard work. He has put the time in to be a winner again now he can at least enjoy for the night and get ready for the European team that wants to beat the US to a pulp in the Ryder cup.

Thank you Tiger for a incredible story and wonderful weekend of golf. Your still the best and enjoy the win.

Go USA.
