April 30,2018 St Mary’s golf tournament at Walden on Lake Conroe

I want to say first, Thank You Charlie for making room for me at the last minute to play in the tournament. This was my 8th time to play and it is always a great event, run well, incredible prizes, and a worth while cause giving back to the church community with scholarships for students to go to college. I believe you stated that last year you gave out 12 scholarships from the tournament and were expecting to give more this year. What a incredible feat and accomplishment and congratulations to you and the mens group at St. Mary”s

Second, I have to mention the man that beat me out on the closest to the hole on number 12. I was inside a foot but he was actually in the hole for a hole – in -one. What a great hole to have one on and a great shot with the pin placement and the wind. A heartfelt congratulations on your hole-in-one Russell. Welcome to the hole-in-one club.

Third, I would like to say thank you to the 3 men that put up with me throughout the day. Robert,Robert, and Scott. It was a true pleasure to meet you and to experience the day on the course with you. Our score was a true team effort where everyone contributed and hit some incredible shots during the day. I know I struggled early in the round but did have a few good shots during the day and maybe even a good putt. Yes i know for all the people that know me that it is hard to believe but yes i did contribute a putt or two. I did however chip in twice so does that count aa a contribution on the greens as well?

I just wanted to mention that I enjoyed the day and the experience again playing in the St. Mary’s charity event and look forward to next year.
